Just picked up a Canon EOS 300D.

Dimage 7 firmware Ver.2.00e installed.
The firmware has been upgraded with the DG7-UGK kit.
Firmware is now being reported as Ver.2.00e.
The focus works faster, but gets it wrong more often.
I can use life histogram, I have to learn how to get profit from it.
I can zoom in on previewed images in Record-mode,
and can direct manual focus after automatic focus.
The zoom is reported different in the exif info.
New software for the PC is also in the delivery,
I never used it before.
Tests show that the promished "improved" CF write times turn out much worse than before.
